Delivery driver arrested on suspicion of exposing himself to Victorville woman
VICTORVILLE >> Authorities Friday arrested a delivery driver in connection with an indecent exposure incident Tuesday and believed he might have exposed himself to others. Saeid Nikpour, 56, of Diamond Bar was arrested 9 a.m. Friday in Covina on suspicion of indecent exposure, a San Bernardino County sheriff's news release states.

Corona man gets probation in Jurupa Valley flashing case
A Corona man who "flashed" a woman stopped next to him at a Jurupa Valley intersection last fall was sentenced Thursday, April 13, to three years' probation. Mario Guadalupe Mendiola, 45, pleaded guilty in February to felony indecent exposure.

Motorcyclist dies after crashing into curb in Corona
The motorcyclist, whose name, age and gender have not yet been released, was traveling east on River Road about 11 p.m. when he or she crossed Cota Street and hit the south curb line and two trees, according to a Corona Police Department news release. Witnesses did not know how fast the motorcyclist was traveling, the news release said.

Open house, fair set to mark Corona hospitala s new ER
Corona Regional Medical Center will host a health fair and open house for its new emergency room Saturday, April 22. The hospital, at 800 S. Main St., will offer tours of the recently completed $38.5 million ER from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will also hold a health and safety fair on the hospital grounds from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fair will include refreshments and activities.

Nearly $1 billion in side deals for California gas tax approved
The side deals surfaced in the lead-up to the April 6 gas-tax vote - which passed narrowly, without a vote to spare - as amendments on a separate bill, Senate Bill 132 . They included nearly $1 billion in transportation projects benefiting the swing districts represented by Assemblyman Adam Gray, D-Merced; Sen. Anthony Cannella, R-Ceres; Assemblywoman Sabrina Cervantes, D-Corona and Sen. Richard Roth, D-Riverside.
